DAB and DAB + (Digital Audio Broadcasting) are the new digital broadcasting systems for transmission of radio stations with a higher quality level, than the old analog FM broadcast. There are many advantages to DAB and DAB +: audio quality; no signal interference, the large number of programs and the increasing number of contents and services available for the users.
Calearo antenna intercepts these new transmissions and brings them in to the car. The extensive knowledge of the quality standards required by leading car manufacturers which Calearo supplies to, has enabled the creation of a product portfolio dedicated to the aftermarket, consisting of multi-function roof antennas and single glass mounted antennas.
While the roof shark fin antennas offer an attractive car design, the glass mounted transparent antennas offer an easy and almost invisible installation.
Alternative to car aerials, we offer a clever solution of an active AMFM/ DAB splitter. This device allows the reception of DAB and DAB+ signals with a “soft” modification to the original radio receiving system installed in the car by utilizing the original analogue aerial and cables.
